The Chesterfield Branch ChairmanRecalls how the "North Derbyshire Reds" were formed The idea for forming the Chesterfield Branch of Liverpool FC supporters came as a result of a chance meeting between three guys, Neil Kniveton, Brian Lunn and Dave Torrington. This meeting took place in 1996 on a coach returning to Clay Cross from a tour of Anfield. Three strangers, who all shared a passion for Liverpool, and had a vision to create an opportunity for Liverpool fans of all ages, to support the best football club in the world |

Liverpool will kick-off the 2009-10 Barclays Premier League campaign with an away clash against Tottenham Hotspur. The Reds travel to Stamford Bridge to do battle with Chelsea on October 3, before Manchester United travel to Anfield on October 24. |

Liverpool are set to face Atletico Madrid at Anfield for their final warm-up game before the 2009-10 season. Fernando Torres' former club will arrive on Merseyside on Saturday, August 8th - a week before the new Barclays Premier League campaign gets underway. |

Would members please note that membership renewals will be due shortly. There is also a restructuring of membership and subscriptions due to be implemented. All members will receive details of this by post shortly. ALL forms must be completed and returned by 31st August 2009. Any member who has not returned their completed form by this date will NOT be allowed membership for the season, and therefore be unable to attend matches. They would then have to re-apply for membership next season, and pay the full, re-joining fee. |
