Committee Newsletter to Members April 2012

Welcome to the April newsletter, our committee this week has been inundated with requests for F.A.Cup Semi-Final tickets, from Members, old members, people wishing to become members, others just asking for tickets etc. Liverpool F.C. do not issue tickets for Cup matches directly to Supporters Clubs, this only applies to Premier League Matches. Therefore our Branch will NOT receive any tickets for the above match.
Individuals who have Season tickets and/or fan card holders may have a chance of tickets dependent upon the selling criteria. Please do not phone us or e-mail us requesting tickets, the answer simply is no. Thank you for your understanding. The branch are running a bus for this game, details of price and pick up points will be published midweek, anyone interested please leave a message on our Facebook page.

Due to unforeseen circumstances the Branch Information Line is still not yet up and running, the new number will be posted on website ASAP. Meanwhile members can leave queries on our Facebook page or call me on 07865644433.

MATCH BOOKINGS

We are currently taking bookings for all games we will at present be working on a £60 package fee, which will be adjusted on the coach. This is due to size of coach and how many are travelling to game.

Carling Cup Final - Polite Notice & Ballot Update

I have been inundated with requests for Carling Cup Final tickets, from Members, old members, and from non members from far and wide.

We as an Official A.I.B. branch of Liverpool Supporters Clubs only receive an allocation of tickets for Barclays Premier League Matches only. Therefore our Branch will NOT receive any tickets for the above match. Please do not phone us or e-mail us requesting tickets.

Dave Torrington (Torro) – Chairman

Longest serving member of the team to date, Carrying a few extra pounds from when he started but still got plenty of stamina. Very proud of his team and their achievements

Pete Rawson (Techno Pete) - Secretary

Signed at the same time as Nige and brings a great deal of experience to the team.Big advocate of the use of new technology in the game,, and mastermind behind the web site. Hates the footballing cliché of "a game of two halves" much prefers four pints each half!!!!

Dave Edmunds (Young Dave) – Treasurer and Ticket Officer

Extremely hard working and enthusiastic player,, always looking to deliver the goods. Bags of match experience and well-travelled in Europe. Highly respected and regarded by his fellow team members. One to look out for this season, rumour as it that he may buy a round!

Des Day (Dessy) – Vice Chairman

Another lad with loads of experience, uncompromising and very versatile. Brings a good balance to the team.Compared to a cross between Graeme Souness, and Terry McDermott in his younger days.

Mick Wharton (Micky) – Committee Member

Quiet man of the team, who has been round the block a few times. Loads of games under his belt, and a familiar sight at post match celebrations in Europe.

Nigel Malton (Nige) – Committee Member

Relatively new to the team but made an instant impact. Very energetic, covers the ground well and takes responsibility. A very positive signing.

Craig Innes (Craigo) - Committee Member

Has risen through the Academy to become a first team member. Good technical ability to help with website.
